In Sanity(Insanity)

I dwell within the shadows
Of a dejected self
I tread a path to the meadows
Of a thousand strange elves

I give my sanity a thought
To unshackle the chains
For my summoned self was caught
Enclosed within other restraints

Niles of past memories still flow
As the tides sail to the shore
But, I drown within, sinking low
Seeing my dreadful self at the core

This sanity, if before time
None at the bay can see
Or hear my ancient lost rhymes
Tell the world, it's not me
