Roma: Wojciech Szczesny Will remain with us

Roma claim Wojciech Szczesny eager to remain with them, because is time due back at Arsenal this summer, amid links to Juventus.
Jim Pallotta the club president says the Poland international goalkeeper has expressed a desire to make a permanent switch to the Italian capital after two years on loan.
He is still under contract at Arsenal and has previously suggested that he will return to north London and endeavour to prove Arsene Wenger of his worth.
Serie A champions Juve are also said to be in the market for another keeper, but Roma are a progressive club and have shown that they can offer Szczesny regular first-team football.
Pallotta said of the 27-year-old: “He told me that he wanted to stay with us.
I’ll say more, I was surprised by the fact some of the players I thought had wanted to leave came up to me before and after the final game to say they wanted to remain.
It’s a sign we’ve got a good group, we just lack some depth and Monchi will help us with that.
Our youth academy products have a lot of talent and they will no longer be loaned out all over the place. We’ll put them at the disposal of our squad.
Szczesny made a move to Italy after slipping down the pecking order at Arsenal.
The arrival of David Ospina and Peter Cech led to him seeing limited game time, but he has made 81 appearances across two seasons at Roma.
