Tuface pledges to donate music’s proceeds to UNHCR for IDPs, refugees

tune icon, innocent Idibia, popularly referred to as Tuface, has pledged to donate the proceeds from his tune to the UN high fee for Refugees (UNHCR), Nigeria, to help Internally Displaced folks (IDPs).

Tuface, who's the Chairman of the Tuface basis, made the pledge on Thursday whilst he visited the UNHCR office in Abuja.

He said that his basis might donate 60 in keeping with cent of the proceeds from his tune committed to Refugees and Internally Displaced folks (IDPs).

Tuface stated that the track, which might be released in commemoration of the sector Refugees Day on June 20, is part of his contribution to alleviating the plights of the IDPs.

In her remarks, Mrs Bridgette Mukanga-Eno, Deputy representative, protection, UNHCR, Nigeria, favored the Tuface foundation for helping UNHCR in its intervention within the North-East.

She called for extra guide to cater for the IDPs and returnees inside the areas of safety, food, livelihood, healthcare, schooling amongst others.

The information organisation of Nigeria (NAN) reports that in February, Tuface donated N3.5 million to the UNHCR to assist its humanitarian intervention to the displaced people in the North-East.
