[MUST READ] 53 Traders Die In Kebbi Boat Accident

No fewer than 53 buyers had been feared lifeless in a boat twist of fate on River Niger in Bagudo, Kebbi nation.

The Chairman of the Bagudo neighborhood authorities Council, Alhaji Muhammad Zagga, advised the news agency of Nigeria in a cellphone interview that the investors have been at the way to a market while the coincidence happened.

Zagga stated: “Majority of the investors are from Gaya Village in Niger Republic.

“They have been going to a market in Lolo while their boat capsized.”

Zagga said out of approximately a hundred passengers on board the boat, forty seven have been rescued.

The others couldn't yet be accounted for.

The chairman said the authorities in Niger Republic had deployed 500 divers to search for the lacking people.

The appearing Director-popular of Kebbi kingdom Emergency control organisation, Alhaji Abbas Rabi’u, defined the incident as unfortunate and disastrous.

“The sufferers had been mainly investors from Niger Republic,” Rabi’u said.
