The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, has said that as opposed to claims that around 300 clinical laborers have tried positive for COVID-19, just 113 have been contaminated.

As indicated by him, most of them were those working in private clinics with no accreditation to treat coronavirus patients.

"With respect to 300 specialists testing constructive, that is weak; there are not all that numerous individuals in the wellbeing segment who are contaminated. The most recent figure we have is that they are around 113 really and this 113 are not all general wellbeing laborers; a great number are from private emergency clinics," he said.

"Furthermore, you could hear us talking here much of the time against individuals treating coronavirus in private centers; we are really alluding to individuals who do as such without the fundamental precautionary measures, without the vital preparing. Since they taint themselves and afterward return home and give these contaminations to their family and isn't the best thing.

"So the social insurance laborers who have no preparation have no business really dealing with coronavirus patients.

"Concerning the individuals who don't have the gear, we have said that we have given PPE to all the individuals out there. However, let me remind you again that there is a worldwide lack of PPEs; each nation is battling for covers, PPEs."
