The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has said it is presently "battling" for bed spaces for the treatment of COVID-19 patients in Lagos State, which has the most noteworthy number of people contaminated by coronavirus in Nigeria.

Chikwe Ihekweazu, Director-General of Center, said this at the instructions of the presidential team on COVID-19 on Thursday.

He included that endeavors were being made to change methodology so the lacking bed spaces doesn't influence the battle against coronavirus.

He stated: "Lagos is the main spot where we are battling with bed spaces for the present. We will consistently comes clean with Nigerians. We are battling with bed spaces in Lagos for the time being."

The detachment communities in Lagos are at the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba; Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, and at Onikan Stadium.

So far 947 affirmed COVID-19 cases are Lagos and 187 of these patients have been released in the wake of recuperating from the sickness.
